Berryville XC competed at the 4a State Championship in Hot Springs on Thursday. The Sr. High women tied for 3rd in the State! Sr. High Men's team placed 10th. Freshman Kai Killingsworth came in 4th overall (ALL-STATE Honors) with a time of 20:38 seconds. Malachi Houghton also made ALL-STATE placing 8th overall with a time of 17:25. The entire Sr. High Girls team ran a season best time and several of the Sr. High men ran a personal best as well. We are so proud of all of our runner's! Berryville XC has a great future!

Our final principal for National Principals Month is Mrs. Christy Graham. Mrs. Graham has been in education for 30 years, beginning her career at the Berryville Elementary School in 1996. She has been a teacher, literacy facilitator, and school improvement specialist/curriculum specialist. Last year, she returned to Berryville Elementary School as the principal. Christy is a 1986 Graduate of Berryville High School. She is married to Chris Graham, is the mom to one amazing son, Jacob Graham, and is a “Nana” to one beautiful granddaughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially playing with her granddaughter. She loves reading and watching football—Go Bobcats, Razorbacks and Kansas City Chiefs!
