The counseling department would like to notify parents of a free service for their students who may need someone to talk to when not at school. Sonar is a service where students can text or use the computer to communicate with a qualified Sonar staff member 24/7. This is a good service to use on nights, weekends, and holiday breaks when your student is not at school and needs someone to talk to about serious or everyday issues that he or she may not feel comfortable talking about with someone they know. Students may have the need to talk to someone impartial about different topics. Messages are kept private unless the student is going to do harm to self or others, then Sonar will notify the school.

BHS Spirit Week, Day 3 "Minion Day"

Students were asked to dress as a Minion today and they did not disappoint.

Thursday is "Anything But a Backpack"!
Students are encouraged to bring anything but a backpack. (No Live Animals and it must be able to be carried up and down the stairs).

Today we highlight the importance of wearing backpacks the right way to keep our students safe and healthy! Heavy or improperly worn backpacks can cause back and shoulder strain.

✅ Choose a backpack that fits your child properly.
✅ Pack the heaviest items closest to the back.
✅ Encourage students to use both shoulder straps.
